Michelin approached Instrument to help reimagine their direct-to-consumer tire buying experience by developing a vision to guide internal teams. We began concepting—exploring a variety of features, content types, and interaction paradigms, through the lens of the .com experience. Our goal was to disrupt the industry—to make the experience more intuitive, trustworthy, and engaging.

We considered a variety of ways in, from contextual search and product storytelling, to a fully immersive tire selector. Our end deliverable was a shared product vision which included a visual playbook and figma prototype of various features.
